Component Identification

Location of telephone antenna

The telephone and GPS roof antenna (A2/49) is attached to the rear window above the heater area. The telephone antenna (A2/49a1) is integrated into
the telephone and GPS roof antenna (A2/49).

Task/function of telephone antenna

The telephone antenna (A2/49a1) transmits or receives telephone signals (data and voice output) through the conversion of electromagnetic radio waves
into electrical voltage and vice versa.
In addition to this the signals of the STH radio remote control transmitter (A8/3) (stationary heater (code 228)) are received for the STH radio remote
control receiver (A6/1) of the stationary heater. To separate the telephone signal and the signal of the STH radio remote control transmitter (A8/3) the
telephone/portable CTEL/STH radio remote control antenna splitter (A2/53) is required.
