Auxiliary Cabin Heater Transmitter: Service and Repair

AR83.70-P-0003-03GZ Teach-In Telestart Transmitter

- with CODE (228) Stationary heater

STAR DIAGNOSIS must not be connected to vehicle.

1.1 Switch off the ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS control unit

On vehicles without code (889) Keyless go.

1.2 Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key from the transmitter range of the vehicle

On vehicles with code (889) Keyless go.

2. Press and hold down STH switch (N72/1s30) for approx. 25 seconds and observe the LED (arrow) on the STH switch (N72/1s30).

REQUIRED reaction of LED (arrow): First the LED (arrow) illuminates in red Then the LED (arrow) goes off. Then the LED (arrow) flashes in
red.

3. When the LED (arrow) flashes in red, release the STH switch (N72/1s30) and press and hold down the OFF button (1) on the transmitter key

(A8/1).

REQUIRED reaction of LED (2): First the LED (2) illuminates in red Then the LED (2) goes off.

4. When the LED (2) is no longer illuminating, release the OFF button (1) and press and hold down the ON button (3).

REQUIRED reaction of LED (2): First the LED (2) illuminates in green. Then the LED (2) goes off.

5. When the LED (2) is no longer illuminating, release the ON button (3).

The transmitter key (A8/1) is now learned in.
