Remove the audio amplifier (A2/1 3) bracket from the wheel well by removing the two (2) 8mm bolts from the trunk rail and the two (2) 8 mm
collar nuts on the wheel well and corner panel (Figure 3).

Remove the amplifier bracket assembly from the wheel well (Figure 4).

10.

Determine the final configuration (CD, telephone, or CD and telephone) and assemble the required fiber optic cable (D2B) daisy chains.

Installation of CD Changer

1.

Locate the CD changer 3-pole connector taped to the audio amplifier wiring harness.

2.

Remove the three (3) CD changer transport screws and install them into the holding locations in the back of the CD changer.

3.

Set the suspension spring configuration to V (vertical).

4.

Find the three (3) adhesive dust covers in the IDENT-KARTE bag and affix them over the transport screw holes in the bottom of the CD changer.

5.

Place the IDENT-KARTE in the owners documentation packet.
