Engine Mount: Service and Repair
Engine Mount

Intake air scoops removed. See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction

Disconnect ground cable at battery, connect.

-

Remove fan shroud ring, place over fan, attach.

Installation Note: Ensure the 4 engaging points are correctly located.

Remove bottom engine compartment panel, install.

-

Unscrew bolts (1), screw on

Tighten to: 25 Nm.

-

Raise engine at front lifting eye, lower.

CAUTION:  When raising, pay attention to accelerator control at rear and coolant hoses.

Unscrew bolts (2), tighten

Tighten to: 55 Nm.

-

Remove engine mount (3) with shield (4), install.

-

Remove drag link, install, refer to Steering and Suspension.

Installation Note: The anti-twist lock in the engine mount (3) must engage in the opening in the shield (4) and in the retaining slot in the engine
carrier.

Shields (4) on left and right are identical.
