Replacement of Parts

The various major assemblies in the air bag system have been designed to be tamper resistant and are not intended to be disassembled for service.
Component assemblies should be removed and replaced as required. Information on proper handling, storage and disposal of the air bag inflator
assemblies.

NOTE:  When replacing an air bag, a prepaid return postcard is provided with the replacement air bag module. The serial number for the new part and
Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) must be recorded and sent to Ford Motor Company.
