perform the repair is approximately one-half hour. Dealerships have service and Parts ordering instruction.

Present the Form 1864 to your dealership when you take your vehicle in for service. The form authorizes him to perform this service. After
repairing your vehicle, the dealership will return the form to us verifying that the required service has been performed. If you lose the Form
1864, the dealership will still service your vehicle at no charge to you.
IF THE DEALERSHIP FAILS TO PERFORM THE SERVICE ON A TIMELY BASIS AND WITHOUT CHARGE:
If you have difficulties in having this recall service performed, please complete Section 3 of the prepaid return postcard and mail it to us, or you
may wish to contact the nearest Ford Parts and Service Division District Office whose address is shown in your Owner Guide. Any Ford or
LincolnMercury dealership can also furnish you the address.
