Rear Door Latch
REAR DOOR LATCH
Removal and Installation
1. Remove the rear door window glass.
2. Remove the bolt and the interior door handle.

To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
3. Position the watershield aside.
4. Disconnect the rear door latch assembly electrical connector.
5. Rotate the push button rod downward and remove it from the rear door latch assembly.
6. Remove the 10 bolts and position the rear door module aside.

To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).
7. Disconnect the exterior door handle actuating rod from the rear door latch.
8. Remove the 3 rear door latch bolts.

To install, tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).
9. Remove the rear door latch assembly.
10. Disconnect the interior door handle actuating cable from the rear door latch.
11. Remove the rear door latch from the bracket.
12. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
