Removal and Installation
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. NOTE: Make sure the index marks on the extension housing and driveshaft are aligned before separation.
NOTE: After removing the driveshaft, place an index mark on the transmission output shaft that matches the transmission extension housing
mark.
Index-mark the driveshaft and the extension housing to maintain driveshaft balance.
3. Index-mark the driveshaft flange to the pinion flange to maintain driveshaft balance.
4. Remove and discard the 4 driveshaft flange bolts.

To install, tighten to 112 Nm (83 ft. lbs.).
