Wiper Pivot Arm - Rear

WIPER PIVOT ARM - REAR

Removal

1. Remove the rear wiper pivot arm cover.

2. Remove the rear wiper pivot arm.

1. Remove the nut.
2. Remove the arm.

Installation

1. NOTE:  This step makes sure the wiper motor is in the PARK position.

Turn the rear wiper switch on and allow the motor to operate for at least one cycle. Turn the rear wiper switch to OFF.

2. Position the wiper pivot arm horizontally as shown, and install the nut.

Install the cover.

3. Operate the rear wiper for at least one cycle and observe that the pivot arm is in the correct park position once the rear wiper motor is allowed to

park

4. If the rear wiper pivot arm does not park in the correct position, remove the pivot arm and repeat steps 1 and 2.
