Connect the accelerator cable end to the throttle body lever.
9.
Position the accelerator cable to the bracket and install the clip.
10.
Install the air cleaner and check accelerator cable operation.
11.
Close the hood.
AFFECTED VEHICLES WITH 2.5L DURATEC AND 2.5L HO ENGINES
REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE
1.
Open the hood.
2.
Remove the clip that holds the accelerator cable to the bracket. See Figure 4.
3.
Remove the accelerator cable end from the throttle body lever and remove the accelerator cable from the bracket. See Figure 4.
