7. Using a # 16 (.177) size drill as a gage, check the size of the bracket to track attaching holes in the "A" pillar limit switch bracket.
8. Observe the drill fit and take the following action:

If the drill does not fit easily into the holes, DO NOT REPLACE the limit switch bracket.

If the drill fits easily into the holes, REPLACE the limit switch bracket with new bracket having smaller holes (4.5 mm). Refer to the Parts
Block for correct parts usage.

Before installing a new "A" pillar limit switch bracket to the body, inspect the "A" pillar limit switch bracket for possible rework.

If the bracket has a long narrow locator tab as shown in Figure 10, remove the tab. The reworked bracket should now look like the one shown in
Figure 11.

If the bracket does not have a long narrow locator tab, proceed to Step # 10.

Before installing the "A" pillar limit switch bracket to the track assembly, apply Threadlock and Sealer (E0AZ-19554-AA), or equivalent, to all
threads of the attaching screws.
CAUTION: USE CARE WHEN INSTALLING SCREWS TO AVOID STRIPPING THE TRACK ASSEMBLY.
