ISSUE:
A low speed "ticking" noise may come from the blower motor. This occurs because the blower motor is not properly sound shielded.
ACTION:
Place a sound dampening cover over the blower motor to lower the sound level. Refer to the following procedure for service details.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
1.
Remove the existing blower motor. Refer to the appropriate Service Manual, Sections 12-02 and 12-03A, for the removal procedure. Discard the
screw, wiring harness and wiring bracket.
