NOTE: Do not rotate the crankshaft when measuring the oil clearances.
5. Install the crankshaft main bearing cap and crankshaft main bearing cap bolts. Tighten the crankshaft main bearing cap bolts in two or three steps
in the sequence shown to 90-100 Nm (67-74 ft. lbs.).
6. Remove the crankshaft main bearing cap bolts in the sequence shown.
7. Remove the crankshaft main bearing cap and measure Plastigage(R) D81 L-6002-B or equivalent at each main journal, Measure at the widest point
of the Plastigage(R) for the smallest clearance and at the thinnest point of the Plastigage(R) for the largest clearance.
