Engine Block Heater: Service and Repair
Engine Block Heater Cord
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect the block heater wiring from the block heater.
3. Cut off the bundling straps securing the block heater wiring.
4. Remove the block heater wiring from the vehicle.
INSTALLATION
1. Connect the block heater wiring to the block heater and route the block heater wiring using new bundling straps.
2. Connect the battery ground cable.
