Villager V6-181 3.0L SOHC VIN 1 EFI (1997)
The air flow control is one large switch containing eight airflow control buttons. The air flow control section is divided into two sub-sections. The
first section contains six mutually canceling air flow control buttons. The second section contains the recirc/fresh air flow control and a dummy
button, or the A/C button (if equipped).
The air flow control's six mutually canceling air flow control buttons operate the panel/floor/defrost door actuator motor which controls the
position of mode doors. The position of the mode doors controls the air flow through the system. There is an air flow control button for each of the
following functions:
^
Off
^
Mix
^
Defrost
^
Panel
^
Bi-level
^
Floor
Manual Control
Electronic Control
The mutually canceling feature of the six air flow control buttons allows any air flow control to be selected while in any other air flow control. As
a button is depressed, the previous selection is automatically canceled and the new function is activated.
