Air Filter Element: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Loosen the spring clamp and separate the breather tube inlet hose from the air cleaner to intake manifold tube.
2. Disconnect the exhaust gas recirculation vacuum regulator solenoid vent hose from the air cleaner to intake manifold tube.
3. Loosen the spring clamp and separate the bypass air inlet hose from the air cleaner to intake manifold tube.
4. Loosen the three air cleaner to intake manifold tube ring clamps.
5. Separate and remove the air cleaner to intake manifold tube.
6. Release the four Engine Air Cleaner (ACL) clamps.
7. Separate the ACL housing cover from the ACL housing and remove the Air Cleaner Element (ACL element).
INSTALLATION
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
