Villager V6-181 3.0L SOHC VIN 1 EFI (1997)
1. Use a screwdriver to remove the forward clutch pressure plate retainer snap ring.
2. Remove the forward clutch pressure plate, forward clutch internal spline clutch plates, forward clutch external spline clutch plates, and the forward
clutch dish plate from the forward clutch.
NOTE: Identify the clutch plates, their order, and their direction when removing them to aid in installation.
3. Use a screwdriver to remove the coasting clutch pressure plate retainer snap ring.
4. Remove the coasting clutch pressure plate, coasting clutch internal spline clutch plates, coasting clutch external spline clutch plates, and the
coasting clutch dish plate from the coasting clutch.
NOTE: Identify the clutch plates, their order, and their direction when removing them to aid in installation.
5. Use Clutch Spring Compressor T65L-77515-A to compress the coasting clutch return springs and remove the coasting clutch spring retainer snap
ring from the forward clutch cylinder.
CAUTION: Do not expand the forward clutch pressure plate retainer snap ring further than necessary or damage may result.
