18. Apply compressed air to the check ball hole from outside the forward clutch cylinder. Air should leak past the check ball.
19. Apply compressed air to the check ball oil hole from inside the forward clutch cylinder. There should be no air leakage.
20. Ensure that the check ball is not stuck in the coasting clutch piston.
21. Apply compressed air to the check ball oil hole opposite the return spring. There should be no air leakage.
22. Apply compressed air to the check ball oil hole on the return spring side. Air should leak past the check ball.
