Liftgate Remote Control Latch

REMOVAL

1. Remove the liftgate trim panel.
2. Remove the watershield.

3. Disconnect the liftgate latch cables.

Remove the bolts.

Remove the liftgate latch cable adjusting brackets from the latch remote control.

Disconnect the liftgate latch cables from the latch remote control.

NOTE:  Mark the position of the liftgate latch cable adjusting brackets before removing the bolts.

4. Release the liftgate exterior handle actuating rod.

5. Release the lock cylinder actuating rod.
