5. Remove the two driver air bag module retaining bolts (one shown) and discard.
CAUTION: After removing, discard the driver side air bag module bolts and install new driver air bag module bolts during installation.
6. Remove the driver air bag module.

Separate the driver air bag module from the steering wheel and disconnect the horn pad switch.

Remove the driver air bag module.
INSTALLATION
1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order. Verify that the air bag warning indicator is operative.
CAUTION: The driver side air bag module bolts are coated with a special bonding agent. Always replace the old driver side air bag module bolts
with new driver side air bag module bolts.
