51 44 001 Removing And Installing/Replacing Headliner (Without Slide/Tilt Sunroof)

WARNING:  Follow safety instructions for working on vehicles with airbag systems.

IMPORTANT:  Do not use any sharp-edged tools in area of head airbag (risk of damage to head airbag).

When working on trim panel components, make sure that visible surfaces are not scratched or damaged (e.g. by sharp-edged tools).

Necessary preliminary work:

Remove trim panel for roof pillar at front (A-pillar) left and right

-

Remove all sun visors and counter-supports

-

Remove roof operating unit

-

Remove interior rear-view mirror

-

Remove rain/light sensor cover

-

Remove trim panels for door posts

-

Remove all grab handles

-

Remove interior roof light

-

Remove trim panel for rear left and right roof pillar (C-pillar)
