54 34 350 - Removing and installing / replacing left or right convertible top trim strip

Necessary preliminary tasks:

-

Open loading aid See: Service and Repair/Procedures/Opening and Closing Loading Aid (Easyload)

Remove auxiliary brake light See: Lighting and Horns/Brake Lamp/Service and Repair

Note:

The right trim strip is removed in the same way as the left trim strip shown.

Release screws (1).

Remove trim strip.

Installation:

If necessary, insert wedge (2) for trim strip in tension bar.
