Coat sealing lip of new shaft seal with oil.
Press in shaft seal with special tools 11 2 320 and 11 8 241 See: Tools and Equipment/11 8 240 Assembly Tool.
Installation:
The shaft seal is correctly fitted when it is flush with the timing chain cover.
Assemble engine.
Check engine for leaks.
