Trailing Arm: Service and Repair
Replacing Left or Right Trailing Arm

33 32 021 - Replacing left or right trailing arm

Note:

Replace self-tapping screw for mounting bracket (with rubber mount) on trailing arm.

Necessary preliminary tasks:

-

Remove trailing arm with bracket See: Removing and Installing Complete Left or Right Trailing Arm

Remove pulse generator incl. lead See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems/Wheel Speed Sensor/Service and
Repair/Replacing a Rear Pulse Generator

Modify wheel bearing See: Wheel Bearing/Service and Repair/Rear Axle

Modify trailing arm bracket See: Replacing Left or Right Trailing Arm Bracket

After installation:

-

Perform chassis alignment check
