POWER SEAT SLIDE MOTOR
PURPOSE
Replacement parts are now available for the power seat slide motor if the motor requires replacement. This bulletin describes how to install the new slide
motor. The motor comes in a repair kit which includes the motor subharness, tie wrap, and four screws.
AFFECTED VEHICLES
1995-1999 Eclipse; 1996-1999 Eclipse Spyder
PROCEDURE
1.
Remove the entire driver's seat assembly from the vehicle. Refer to Group 52A of the appropriate service manual.
2.
Note the location of the tie wrap securing the power seat slide motor harness. Remove the tie wrap.
3.
Using pliers, squeeze the harness retaining clip to remove the harness connector from the harness tray.
