Be sure the outside end of the parking brake cable lock nut is positioned 25 +/- 1 mm from the end of the parking brake cable. If necessary, move
the lock nut to this position.

Torque the lock nut to 6 Nm (4-1/2 ft.lbs).
NOTE:
If a lock is missing, install a new lock nut, listed in the PARTS INFORMATION section of this bulletin. Torque the new lock nut to 6 Nm
(4-1/2 ft. lbs).
4.
Confirm proper parking brake operation.
