PURPOSE
This bulletin is to inform you of a revision to the 1989 Galant Service Manual. In order to check the ignition power transistor, voltage needs to be
applied to certain terminals. The service manual states that voltage should be 15 volts, which is incorrect and should be changed to 1.5 volts. Also, the
polarity of a test meter is reversed in one procedure, and battery polarity is reversed in another, and need to be changed. As a reference to this bulletin,
"TSB-89-08-003" in the TSB Revision box at the bottom of pages 8-221 and 8-225 in Volume 2 of the 1989 Galant Service Manual.
