If the seatback will still not release, insert a short flat head screwdriver into the release lever hole and manually release the lock by pressing down
on the hinge point as shown in figure 3.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

After the seatback has been released as described above, use a flathead screwdriver to bend the "L" bracket inside the seatback downward about 5 mm as
shown in Figure 4. This will prevent this condition from recurring.
