Montero Sport LS 2WD V6-3.0L SOHC (1998)
1. Install the center bearing assembly to the propeller shaft (Front) as shown in the illustration.
2. Align the mating marks on the center yoke and propeller shaft (Front).
3. Press-fit the center bearing assembly with the center yoke while tightening the self-locking nut.

Required Special Tools:
MB990840 (Type 1, Type 2): Universal joint remover/installer
MB991410 (Type 2): Collar
CAUTION: Be careful when pressing the journal bearings, if they are pressed at an angle, the inside of the journal bearings will be damaged by
the journal.
1. Use special tool MB990840 to press the journal bearing into the yoke until the snap ring groove is fully visible.
2. Use special tool MB990840 and MB991410 to press the opposite side journal bearing into the yoke.
