PURPOSE
This bulletin updates the MIT216941 OTC Piston Pin Service Set operating instructions to include models through 1996. This bulletin contains an
illustration and parts list for the Piston Pin Service Set. It is suggested that a copy of these operating instructions be stored with the Piston Pin Service Set
for ready reference.
AFFECTED MODELS
The Piston Pin Service Set is used for all engines except the Chrysler built 420A 2.0L DOHC non turbo engine used in Eclipse vehicles, the 6G74 3.5L
V-6 engine used in Montero, and the 4D55 diesel truck engine. (Piston pins in these engines are not pressed into place and do not require use of the
Piston Pin Service Set.)
