Parking Brake Cable: Service and Repair
Front
FRONT PARKING BRAKE CABLE
REMOVAL
1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Lockout the parking brake cable (2).
3. Loosen adjusting nut to create slack in front cable (2).
4. Remove the front cable from the cable adjuster.
5. Compress cable end fitting at underbody bracket (5) and remove the cable (1) from the bracket.
