300ZX STEERING GEAR REBUILD PARTS

The steering gear must be completely disassembled and inspected to determine if the gear can be rebuilt, and what parts are required. Use the flow chart
on next page as a guide for the inspection sequence and part numbers. The part numbers listed are sufficient to rebuild one power steering gear.

The part numbers for the rebuild seal kit and cylinder end housing assembly have been changed since the previous bulletin; the new part numbers include
improved rack seals. The 1986 300ZX steering gear has a slightly different internal design from the earlier model gears. But, it uses the same rebuild seal
kit and cylinder end housing assemblies.
