7. Remove the 2 side airbag mounting nuts.

Side air bag is on the left side of the seat.

^

Do not use a power tool on these nuts.

^

Discard these nuts: DO NOT REUSE. New nuts are included in the repair kit.

8. Locate and remove the 2 mounting bolts on the left side of the lumbar support assembly.

Carefully move the seat trim, seat foam, and side air bag to the left.

^

Do not damage the side air bag mounting stud threads.

^

The bolts have an 8 mm hex head.

9. Connect both 12V battery cables, positive cable first.

10. Move the seat bottom to the full rearward position.

11. Recline the seatback far enough to access the 2 mounting screws on the right side of the lumbar support assembly.
