IMPORTANT:

When reinstalling the side air bag, make sure the module is fully inside the white cloth sleeve. Also, make sure the sleeve is smooth and not
"bunched".

Do not reuse the old side air bag mounting nuts. Make sure to use the new nuts included in the repair kit.

Torque the side air bag mounting nuts to: 7.3 N.m (0.74 kg-m, 65 in-lb)

Connect the battery cables, positive cable first.

16.

Operate the lumbar support. Make sure it is working correctly.

Reset the radio station presets.

18.

Reset the sunroof memory as follows:

a.

From any sunroof position (full open, partially open, closed, partially vented, and vented), repeatedly push the sunroof tilt switch to the
forward (CLOSE) position until the sunroof is fully closed.

b.

Push and hold the tilt switch forward (CLOSE) for more than 2 seconds.

c.

The sunroof should now operate normally.

NOTE:

The above procedure must be performed any time the battery is disconnected.
