Make sure the tape strips are next to the bottom edge.

Apply tape the entire length of the waist molding, and as far out to each end as possible.
4.
Apply felt cloth tape around metal tab holes.

Use felt cloth tape 68370-4B000, from the Squeak and Rattle Kit.
^
Cut 4 pieces of tape in half so you have a total of eight pieces.
^
Cut a slot in each piece so the metal tabs can pass through.
5.
Reinstall the waist molding.
a.
Hold/"compress" the molding tightly in place.
b.
Bend the metal tabs in their original direction to hold the waist molding.

Four (4) tabs towards the front of the vehicle should be bent forward.
^
Four (4) tabs towards the rear of the vehicle should be bent rearward.
Upper Door Panel Supports
(Refer to Figure 2 if needed.)

Apply felt cloth tape to the three (3) upper door panel supports.
