Place the antenna electrical motor housing and plastic gear case inside the plastic protector. Refer to the illustration in this bulletin.

Secure the top portion of the bag with a plastic tie wrap around the antenna mast tubular protector. Be sure to leave the antenna cable outside the
plastic bag.

4.

Cut off the excess tie wrap, leaving about 1/4".

Cut a piece of plastic tape (approx. 5") and wrap it around the end of the plastic bag next to the tie wrap, securing it firmly against the antenna
mast tubular protector.

6.

Install the antenna ensuring the plastic protector is secure.

Note:
An ordered antenna may already have the plastic cover in place and will require no modification-- simply install the antenna as is. A Technical Service
Bulletin may be issued when factory countermeasure information is finalized.
