REPAIR:

Lower the window.

Beginning in the middle of the A-Pillar, remove the leading edge of the glass run rubber, working down to the top edge of the door finisher (see
Figure 1).

Pull the run rubber partially out of the door channel (see Figure 1).

NOTE:  

Do not remove the run rubber completely from the door channel.  It is only necessary to remove enough of the run rubber from the channel to
completely expose the hard foam rope seal located within the folds of the run rubber (see Figure 1).

Peel away and remove the 6 mm (.24 inch) diameter, 110 mm (4.4 inch) long hard foam rope seal from the run rubber (see Figure 2).
