After completing any necessary electrical circuit repair, remove and inspect the MAP/BARO switch solenoid valve. If the part has a painted 4 digit
code that does not begin with A (see Figure 2), replace it with P/N 14956-38U01.

NOTE:  Do not use any lubricant when installing the vacuum hoses.

Repair Confirmation

1.

Start the engine, and let it idle for 5 minutes or more.

2.

Repeat steps 1-2 from the SERVICE PROCEDURE.

A.

If no DTC is stored, the vehicle is ready for release to the customer.

B.

If a DTC is stored, perform the appropriate trouble diagnosis for the DIC stored.
