REMOVAL

1. Remove the drive shaft from the transaxle body.

2. Remove oil seal with a slotted screwdriver.

CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the case surface when removing the oil seal.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Using Tool (drift), drive the oil seal straight until it protrudes from the case end equal to dimension "A" as shown.
Dimension "A": Within 0.5 mm (0.02 inch) or flush with the case.

Special Service Tool

CAUTION:

When installing oil seal, apply multi-purpose grease to oil seal lips.

Oil seal is not reusable.

Check the oil level after installation.
