has always been vitally interested in the performance of Nissan vehicles, and is proud of its reputation for quality. We have discovered that the fuel and
engine temperature gauges may not give accurate readings on some 1987 Sentra vehicles. A new instrument voltage regulator has been developed to
improve gauge accuracy and is available at no charge to owners of these vehicles.

Any Nissan dealership can install this new voltage regulator on your vehicle. Please make an appointment with the dealer of your choice for this free
service. This offer expires on November 30, 1988, but we encourage you to have this service performed at your earliest opportunity to ensure proper
operation of the fuel and temperature gauges. If you have had your car into a dealership already for this correction, please check the "Repair Completed"
box on the change of information postcard included with this letter and return it to us with the requested information about the repair. If you were
charged for the repair because your Sentra was beyond the 12 month/12,500 mile New Vehicle Limited Warranty, you may be eligible to receive a full
refund.

WHO CAN GET A REFUND?

To get a refund for repairs already made to your Sentra fuel and temperature gauge, the following requirements must be met:

1.

The repair was to replace the instrument voltage regulator.

2.

The failure occurred under conditions of normal use. Damage resulting from accidents, misuse or improper repairs are not eligible for a refund.

It is not necessary that you still own the vehicle to receive a refund.

HOW TO OBTAIN A REFUND:

Please complete and mail the attached claim form, along with proof of repairs, such as a paid invoice or repair order, in the envelope provided. Please
keep a copy for yourself. It is important that the repair order or other proof of repair adequately describes the repair performed on your Nissan fuel and 
temperature gauge, and the date the repair was made. The refund claim form must be mailed to Nissan Motor Corporation in U.S.A. by February 29,
1988.

The program is limited to repayment of reasonable parts and service expenses only. All claims will be reviewed by Nissan Motor Corporation in U.S.A.
and, upon confirmation of expense claims, a repayment check will be mailed directly to you within approximately six (6) weeks.

If you have any questions concerning this repayment procedure or repairs, please contact the Consumer Affairs Office at the appropriate Nissan Regional
facility listed in your vehicle's Warranty Information Booklet.

Please bring this notice with you when you keep your service appointment as it contains pre-printed claim information which will assist the dealer. If the
dealer fails, or is unable to make the necessary repairs free of charge, you should immediately contact the Consumer Affairs Office as stated above. Or,
