Intrigue V6-3.8L VIN K (1998)
1. Install the brake pedal (7) and bushings (4), if removed. Lubricate the bushings with white lithium grease.
NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the brake pedal mounting nut (10) and bolt (9).

Tighten the brake pedal mounting nut and bolt to 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the master cylinder pushrod retaining clip at the brake pedal.
4. Install the wiring harness clips.
5. Install the Body Control Module. Refer to Body Control Module Replacement in Body Control System.
6. Install the cruise control release switch (if equipped). Refer to Cruise Release Switch Replacement in Cruise Control.
7. Install the stoplamp switch. Refer to Stoplamp Switch Replacement.
8. Install the driver's side instrument panel insulator. Refer to Insulator Replacement - IP in instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators.
