Door Sensor/Switch (For Alarm): Service and Repair

FRONT DOOR AJAR SWITCH

1. Open front door.

2. Remove screw holding door ajar switch to door B-pillar.
3. Remove door ajar switch from B-pillar.
4. Disconnect wire connector from back of ajar switch and remove switch.
5. For installation, reverse the preceding operation.

SLIDING DOOR AJAR SWITCH

1. Release sliding door latch and allow back of door to pop open.

2. Through opening at rear edge of sliding door on outside of vehicle, pry door ajar switch from quarter panel opening.
3. Disconnect wire connector from back of ajar switch.
4. Remove sliding door ajar switch.
5. For installation, reverse the preceding operation.
