Rear Compartment Lid Hinge Replacement (Coupe/Sedan)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear compartment deck lid strut. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Strut Replacement (Coupe and Sedan)   (See: Trunk / Liftgate Shock

2. With the aid of an assistant, remove the compartment lid hinge nuts.

It is not necessary to remove the lid if replacing only one hinge.

3. Remove the hinge to quarter panel bolts.
4. Remove compartment lid nuts to hinge.
5. Remove the compartment lid hinge.
