1. Lower the vehicle.
2. Remove the fluid fill cap (1).
3. Fill the transmission to the proper level with the correct fluid. Refer to Transmission Fluid Check (See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Automatic
Transmission/Transaxle/Testing and Inspection/Component Tests and General Diagnostics/6T40/6T45 - Automatic Transmission/Transmission
Fluid Check) and Fluid Capacity Specifications (6T40/45) (See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Automatic
Transmission/Transaxle/Specifications/Capacity Specifications).
4. Install the fluid fill cap (1).
