12. Install the power steering gear inlet pipe/hose bracket to subframe retaining bolt (1).
Tighten the bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
Notice: When adding fluid or making a complete fluid change, always use the proper power steering fluid. Failure to use the proper fluid will
cause hose and seal damage and fluid leaks.
13. Fill power steering fluid reservoir with fluid to the MAX level mark on the reservoir.
14. Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding (See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Power Steering/Power
Steering Bleeding/Service and Repair) .
15. Check for power steering fluid leaks.
16. Install the engine dress cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Engine Cover Replacement) .
17. Install the air inlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement (See: Filters/Air Cleaner Housing/Air Cleaner Fresh Air Duct/Hose/Service
and Repair) .
18. Install the upper section of the air box. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (See: Filters/Air Cleaner Housing/Service and Repair) .

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the engine dress cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Engine Cover Replacement) .
2. Remove the air intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement (See: Filters/Air Cleaner Housing/Air Cleaner Fresh Air
Duct/Hose/Service and Repair) .
3. Remove the mass air flow (MAF) sensor. Refer to Mass Airflow Sensor with Intake Air Temperature Sensor Replacement (See: Powertrain
Management/Computers and Control Systems/Air Flow Meter/Sensor/Service and Repair) .
4. Remove the upper section of the air box. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (See: Filters/Air Cleaner Housing/Service and Repair) .
5. Place a large suitable container under the vehicle in order to collect draining fluid.
