1. Install the brake pedal assembly.

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the upper (1) and the lower (2) mounting nuts to the brake pedal assembly.

Tighten the mounting nuts to 27 Nm (20 inch lbs.).

3. Connect the brake pedal pushrod (1) to the brake pedal (2).
4. Connect the electrical harness to the brake pedal.
5. Install the brake switch (1) to the brake pedal. Refer to Stoplamp Switch Replacement.
6. Connect the accelerator cable to the accelerator pedal.
7. Install the left instrument panel insulator.
