6. If necessary, remove the oil filter fitting.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. If removed, install the oil filter fitting.

Tighten the engine block fitting to 39 Nm (29 ft. lbs.).
NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the oil filter bypass valve.
