Day of the Week and Date Do Not Agree on Driver's Information Center (DIC) on Vehicles Equipped with 6-Disc CD/Radio (Replace Radio)

Condition
Some customers may comment that the day of the week and the date do not agree as shown on the Driver's Information Center (DIC).
Cause
This condition is caused by an anomaly in the 6-disc CD/radio software for vehicles built prior to January 6, 2004.
Correction:
Important:
Determine if the vehicle was built prior to January 6, 2004, by running the VIN in GMVIS. Vehicles built January 6th and later already contain the
new radio software.
