Hood Insulator Replacement (With Hood Scoops)

Removal Procedure

1. Open the hood.
2. Remove the hood air extractors. Refer to Hood Air Extractor Replacement  (See: Service and Repair/Hood Air Extractor Replacement) .
3. Starting at the rear of the hood and working toward the front, remove the hood insulator retainers (2), thirteen places, attaching the hood insulator

(1) to the hood assembly.

4. Slide the insulator (1) from the slots (3) in the hood inner panel and remove.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the hood insulator (1) to the inner hood panel and slide into slots (3).
