Hood Latch Striker Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Open the hood.
2. Loosen the hood latch striker nut (3).
3. Using a flat-bladed tool, unscrew the hood latch striker bolt (6) ensuring the washer (2), hood pop-up spring (4) and the hood pop-up spring
retainer (5) remain on the hood latch striker bolt (6), and remove from hood (1).
4. Secure the hood latch striker nut (3) in a vise and disassemble components, if necessary.
Installation Procedure
1. Secure the hood latch striker nut (3) in a vise and reassemble components, if removed.
